Click here for Manchester hiking trail information. CCC Night Out will be held outdoors this month at Northwest Park in Manchester. The park has a great children's playground, trails, baseball fields, a butterfly garden and kayaking in Union Pond. As with the previous outdoor get togethers, this one will also be BYOPD (Bring your own Picnic Dinner). There is a covered pavilion so we can meet come rain or shine. The event will begin at 6pm.

If you are looking for a nice evening walk, the Union Pond Trail makes a 2.4 mile loop around the pond. The trek takes you along parts of the Hockanum River; there are about a dozen caches along the way.

The Central Connecticut Cacher's Nite Out is an evening gathering on the second Tuesday of every month (well, most months anyway). Mark your calendars now! Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend...you don't have to reside in CT, and you certainly don't have to be an experienced cacher...new folks are most welcome! Let us know if this is your first event as we'd like to get acquainted.

This event features new or rotating hosts every month, and changing locations. If you have an interest in hosting, please contact Katydid & Miles Stone. As host, you'll select a location; get the coordinates; and copy and paste the event page and resubmit. There are a number of places in the Greater Hartford area to enjoy good food and drinks. Locations should be kid friendly, have no admission fee and be within the Central Connecticut/Greater Hartford area. Cachers from outside of the area are also encouraged to host, but we do ask that the event itself be held in the central CT area.
