Geocache Description:

This small cache may be covered in bracken in high summer, but will be easy to spot. Access is via a grassy path, which is accessible through a kissing gate and gentle slope. The site is only 26m above sea level, so not too demanding! Due to the terrain it is sadly not accessible by prams or wheelchairs.

You'll be looking for a small click and lock plastic box, which has been located in the grounds of our family cottage, Llyndir. The location of the cache is just off the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, near the quiet beach of Porth Sele. So if you are walking the long distance path, this will provide a welcome stop.

The cache is located on a device used by my father to pump the water from the nearby well to the cottage. This task was preformed every day. In order to fully fill the large water tanks he and his siblings, would pump the water by hand, reciting the lengthy poem, The Wonderful One-Horse Shay, twice.

Parking is available at the St Justinian car park by Rhosson, or at Whitesands Beach. I highly recommend parking at Rhosson (Pay & Display), walking up to the lifeboat station and following the coastal path to Porth Sele. The views here are some of the best to be found in this country.
