Wimpole Estate has a series of caches on National Trust land. At Wimpole there are three routes with a variety of caches hidden.
This Cache is one of a series set up be the National Trust as a new way for people to explore and enjoy the outdoors at Wimpole Estate. Each cache contains activity cards and notes on the surrounding area and history of Wimpole. The geocaches are all located in public footpaths and are accessible at all times, free of charge. If you do chose to park at Wimpole Estate car park and are not members there is a £2 charge. The caches are never to far away from the main footpath, but please be careful of ditches, stinging nettles and please replace any camouflage for the next hunter.
Each Cache contains a log book, activity sheet, and swappable toys for you to exchange with.
Please be aware of livestock when searching for caches, close any gates you walk through and some of the footpaths can get very muddy after rain and during winter.
