visit Rubeus Hagrid's House in the Enchanted Forest.
Unfortunately, I think Voldemort was here first and wreaked havoc.
Perhaps his aim would have been better if he had actually owned the
Elder Wand. But then, we all know that the wizard doesn't choose
the wand - the wand chooses the wizard and this must have made his
aim suspect.
Perhaps, if you are stealthy you might see some of Hagrid's pets.
Fang the boarhound, Aragog the Acromantula, Buckbeak the
Hippogriff, Norbert/Norberta the dragon or Fluffy the
hellhound.
In reality, it was near this spot that a badger was captured on a
wildlife camera.
The older
kids will notice the extensive limestone workings alongside the
path. This picture shows how impressive these must have
been.
