A simple hide by public parking. A good place to start exploring our city. Use stealth! Handicap accessible, but might need help retreiving the cache. BY pen.
History and interesting architecture abound in downtown Chillicothe, Ohio. Near the cache site is our Bicentennial Bell and clocktower. To the south on Paint St. is the Ross County Courthouse, and further down, the Chillicothe and Ross County Public Library Main banch, which is a Carnegie Library. To the north and west is Yoctangee Park with a beautiful Bicentennial walkway, numerous opportunities for recreation and a great playground for the kids. The red caboose to the west is a railroad museum. So park your car and get out to explore downtown. Enjoy. Permission to place given by Cathy Primer, Parks & Rec Dir.
