Geocache Description:

Come celebrate the first International Geocaching Day!

The Shenandoah Valley Geocachers are hosting a party for the first International Geocaching Day!

When: August 20, 2011 from 10:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Where: Riven Rock Park Picnic Shelter #1
33 West from Harrisonburg, VA

What: Games, Geocaching stories, Travel bug swapping, Door Prizes, and of course some cache hunting.

Things to bring:
1 - Yourself, geokids, geodogs, TBs (to trade or for others to discover)
2 - A GPS of course
3 - Your own Lunch (to keep it simple)
4 - Bring at least 1 item to give away as a door prize. This could be homemade caches, unactivated TB tags, Camo Duct Tape, whatever!

Schedule of Activities:
10:30-11:00 - Check-in
11:00-12:00 - Geobingo, games, travel bug exchange, pathtag swapping, etc.
12:00-12:45 - Lunch
12:45-1:00 - Group Photo & Door Prizes
1:00-? - geocaching in the park, swapping stories, asking Wildernessben where his Camo caches are :), etc.
