Located with permission. A nice easy drive up cache. It is requested that non-registering visitors not go beyond the timber sign/wagon. I spent many a summer here growing up, and did again with the family this time. Definitely a gem hidden in the wilds of Milton. ;)
This cache was placed during "Family Week 1" of 2011. During the week I took a few newbees on a trek to find a few caches along the creek. It was quickly decided to place one here. It is a large cache that contained at time of placement a baseball cap for the the FTF prize, log book, pen, booklets and pamphlets with the history of the site, and several little items and trinkets that the campers contributed including some of the weeks crafts. Every summer hundereds of people descend on this area to learn, have fun, and make friends. Enjoy!
***Maintenance done in the spring of 2012 resulted in the replacement of the container to a smaller one. It is currently a 2.5L snap lock container***
