Geocache Description:

An easy P&G along a country road

The Lincoln Highway was the first transcontinental highway. It stretched from San Francisco all the way to New York City. It was officially opened on October 31, 1913, and in 1915, it was possible to travel 3,300 miles by car from Time Square, New York to the San Francisco World Fair. This lost and mostly forgotten piece of American history is commemorated by a small rock and brass monument with faded paint, and now a cache.

Congrats to Razz Tazz for FTF! - That was seriously fast, like minutes!
