Geocache Description:

This cache is located and a nice walking trail across the street from the Cornish Fairgrounds on Town House Road in Cornish, NH. This is a nice trail that is not well known to people outside the area. The trail head is obvious and it has parking available at the enterance or across the street at the Cornish Town Hall.

There is a big sign in the woods for the "RODNEY PALMER ENVIRONMENTAL STUDY AREA 1991" Follow the trail marked "Mike's Trail" and continue into the woods where you will reach the coordinates. The cache is not far from the trail on easy level terrain. After finding the cache, continue a nice walk over a man made wooden bridge that takes you over a swamp/marshy area. This is a peaceful area and my daughter enjoyed seeing the beaver chewed area on the bridge. Follow the trail all the way out and it will take you into a field which connects to South Parsonage Road. If you don't want to walk back through the trail, take S. Parsonage Road back out to Townhouse Road just up from where you parked.

The cache is a medium sized plastic locking box that is covered by digital camo colored tape. This is our first cache and we had fun finding a place to hide it. Inside for the FTF is a cool coin that relates to our careers, a log book, a miniature construction cone, a light stick, a mini flashlight and a mini soccer ball.
