It's time for a Geocaching Block Party... Central Vermont -style!
If you can't make it to Seattle for Groundspeak's 2011 Block Party, you can come to Friendly's on August 20, 2011, from 7 pm to 9 pm, for a Block Party celebration that will correspond with the West Coast mega-event. We will also be celebrating the very first International Geocaching Day!
We will get together for an Ice Cream social/Block party at Friendly's Restaurant in Berlin, VT on VT 302.
We will start the social at 7 PM to have one (or more) of their deserts. They close at 10 pm, so we need to be out by then.
They will have a back section reserved for us Geocachers.
It will be a chance to swap TBs, beg hints, and trade stories.
If your hungry or want a something else, they will be happy to serve anything from the menu. But No Purchase is required.
~~~ If you have a unique cache container that you'd like to display, bring it along. There will be a prize for the most creative cache container! ~~~

And one more thing... Groundspeak announced that a special "Souvenir" will be provided for anyone finding a cache or attending an event on this day. So, all the more reason to stop by enjoy an ice-cream, and share your stories.
