ACT 2000 Club - 2nd Edition Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Sol de lune: The time has come for this one and it's nearby mate to be retired. The idea was good at the time, but it's time to concentrate solely on the 1000 Club....which is the bigger milestone anyway.

Thanks to all who found this one....I look forward to seeing what can come in here in there place.

Cache has been removed.....

Geocache Description:

The 2nd in the ACT 2000 Club series, meaning we have another 6 local cachers that have climbed over the 2000 find barrier. The latest members of the Club, in no particular order are:

Tealby,
fitzy_1965,
Captain Tomato,
SecretSquirrel-BJC,
mr_roo, and
Black Bunny

Unlike the 1000 Club, it takes a little longer to get to the magic of 2000, so a few of these were made a while ago.

As usual the cache is not at the posted co-ords. To find it, simply work out which cache was the 2000th find for each of the cachers, answer a question about the find/cache and than head off to claim the cache.

Each log for each member mentions that the find is GC number 2000.

Once you have the required answers, the cache can be found at South 35 24 ABC and East 149 08 DEF

Simple really, so here you go:

Tealby

Tealby made her 2000th GC find sometime in Nov 2009, and it was not within the ACT. An interesting log for number 2000, as it appears you never know who you might run into when caching interstate. Very strange Tealby!!!

D = the date (day only) the find was made.

Fitzy_1965

Fitzy made his 2000th GC find in Jan 2010 and basically they do not come much higher in the ACT than this one.

A = the month of the year the cache was placed

______________________________________________

Captain Tomato

The good captain made his 2000th GC cache a bit of road trip during Apr 2010. An epic cache that took a day or two to complete.

F = number of letters in the name of the cacher who found number 2000 with CT

_______________________________________________

SecretSquirrel-BJC

The sneaky squirrel’s 2000th GC find was found just over the border in NSW, sometime in Aug 2010. The cache is now archived, but can still be found without too much bother. And to help you along a little more, the owner of the cache in question is actually featured in this listing.

C = The sum of the two numbers in the GC number.

_______________________________________________

Mr_roo

Mr_roo collected his 2000th GC find during Dec 2010 and just like his 1000th find, he chose it for the name.

B = How many numbers in the GC number?

____________________________________________

Black Bunny

The Bunny made his 2000th GC find during Jun 2011, down in the state where the AFL Grand Final is played. The opening line of the cache description could be very familiar to you if you like a popular board game.

E = The month the cache was placed………PLUS 1

Checksums: South 29 - East 40

So that’s it. Find the required info and then find the cache.

Good luck
