Geocache Description:

Find the metal bottle cache at Kiteboarding Beach in Da-an near something big that goes "Wum, Wum, Wum"! The cache contains a log book, pencil and goodies.

One of the worlds fastest growing sports is Kiteboarding! Kiteboarding (or kite-surfing) is basically surfing using a huge kite that pulls riders in the water and sometimes up high in the air. It is getting more and more popular in Taiwan because of the strong winds that can be found on many beaches around Taiwan including this one. I highly suggest you go find this cache on the weekends when the tide is low so that you can see may kiteboarders do their thing. I (wynando) actually got a chance to try it at this beach and it was soo exciting.
There is also an interesting abandoned resort down the road from this cache which once was once a popular tourist spot for beach lovers but now no more. Maybe if Kiteboarding becomes more popular here, the tourists will return!
