Just a few meters down the road to the east of the listed coordinates is a precision 15m measuring for heaven-knows-what. I always thought these were for taxi-cabs to calibrate their measurement systems, but it is located in the middle of nowhere. I think this may be a good spot to test your GPS since it is better suited for smaller distances!
A few meters up the road to the west of the listed coordinates is a fantastic view of Barrie's Lake, or probably better described as "Barrie's Swamp". Barrie's Lake is an environmentally protected area and privately owned, so please stay out of the water. The cache is hidden inbetween the lake and the roadside, and should not require you to get wet.
Regarding the cache, trust your geo-senses on this one, as the powerline located directly overhead may interfere with your GPS finding GZ. Please be gentle on the retrieval.
