Congratulations to Passposse FTF
The cache is a small screwtop container, which shouldn’t be too hard to find. The name comes from its proximity to the 7th Tee of the Golf Course. Starter contents are log book and pen with some odds and ends – bracelet, seashell, wooden zebra, butterfly weight, etc and a red lizard TB. There is roadside parking at the start of the FP on the Saxmundham/Aldeburgh road (N52 09.731 E01 34.850) PLEASE KEEP TO THE PUBLIC FOOTPATH To ensure you are on the public FP across the course, 60 yards in from the road, turn left by the dog bin and white sign and after a further 80 yards bear right Then follow the well-marked (yellow FP signs) track (a bit too bumpy for buggies) which leads gently uphill. Nearing GZ there is a lovely view down over the river Alde towards Iken – the line of Scots pines beside the river is known locally as Little Japan. The sea can also be seen, through a gap in the trees to the right of the clubhouse. Dogs on leads please. There is plenty of wildlife to be seen on the way and turtle doves and nightingales can be heard in summer. Please keep to the marked FP and do not obstruct or distract the players. Also bear in mind that not all golf shots go straight (mine are often wayward!). I have promised that the cache will be removed if it causes problems.
