Geocache Description:

This is the start of a series of letterbox hybrids on the north sea cycle route.
http://www.northsea-cycle.com/
They are based on the months of year and includes some facts. Just now ive hidden January - august. Hopefully in the next 3-4 weeks I’ll finish the rest of the series. The container is a small clear lock & lock box. sorry there is only room for 1 or 2 trackables/swaps.

March

In the Roman calendar, Martius mensis, month of Mars, the god of war. In the earlier Roman calendar, it was the first of ten months in the year. (The twelve month year was devised later.)
In Old English, it was Hrethmonath, fierce-month, because it was a time of blustery winds.

This cache is at ground level. The grasses and foliage around it are only a foot high. Can you please take care when placing the cache so it’s not in view from the path and if possile watch out you don't leave to much of a trail behind you, thanks jim.

This cache type pays homage to an older form of scavenger hunt. Letterbox hybrids must contain a signature stamp that stays with the box. A letterbox hybrid may have a mystery or puzzle element, but cannot be designed to be found by only using clues. To seek a letterbox hybrid, you will not need your own personal stamp and letterboxing logbook just log your visit as normal in the visitors book as you would do with any other type of cache, thanks.

if you do have a stamp please “sign” the logbook.

Please note that the stamp and ink pad are not swaps
