Top of knoll beside path and overlooking Loch Finlas
This is the second cache in a series which I have called the five lochs based on a 13.5 mile circular walk we enjoy doing. All the caches can be found independently. To get to the cache you can either use the Loch Bradan car park (car park go down the C1 Straiton to Glentrool road and turn off at the Loch Bradan Water Treatment sign. Follow the road to the end) or park at the Loch Finlas Forestry Commission sign on the Dalmellington to Loch Doon road, GR 483985. The cache is located just off the track between Loch Bradan and Loch Finlas on a small knoll. Finlas is another loch used by Scottish Water to serve the local towns. The cache is in a small plastic container with a notebook and pen. I would recommend that you take stout footwear and waterproofs. Thanks to the Forestry Commission for permission for this cache.
Congratulations to JF20938 for FTF
