Five lochs no 3 - Doon Traditional Cache

Close to Loch Finlas Forestry Commission sign and turn off
This is the third cache in a series which I have called the five lochs based on a 13.5 mile circular walk we enjoy doing. All the caches can be found independently. To get to the cache you can park at the Loch Finlas Forestry Commission sign on the Dalmellington to Loch Doon road, GR 483985 or use the Loch Bradan car park (car park go down the C1 Straiton to Glentrool road and turn off at the Loch Bradan Water Treatment sign. Follow the road to the end) if you intend to do the whole walk. The cache is in a small plastic container with a notebook and pen and is located just off the side of the road. I would recommend that you take stout footwear and waterproofs, if you plan to do the others in the series. Thanks to the Forestry Commission for permission for this cache.
