A quick cache and dash, take a few mins to enjoy the view. If you take any young ones, please be careful of the busy road this is near. Short, not accessible for strollers or wheelchairs, available during winter, takes less than an hour, parking available in lay-by, dogs allowed.
Enjoy the beautiful view whilst you are searching, shame people dump rubbish here sometimes. You are looking for a micro cache.
Zig Zag Hill provides excellent views across Cranborne Chase, which straddles the Dorset/Wiltshire border to the east. The chase was once a royal hunting forest but most of it is grassland today, with the occasional pocket of woodland. The area has very few settlements and is ideal walking country.
