A trail for all ages. Cache name is the ages of all in our group when hiding this. Beautiful trail that needs another cache to entice you hearty souls.
See Alpine Lookout cache by GeoRoo for notes on parking and other trail preparations. Requires NW Forest Pass at TH. Fantastic hike to the top with all the main Pacific NW attractions like bugs, critters, trees, rocks, trails, vistas, trains, fire lookout tower, etc. We placed this cache just after one of the most challenging stretches of the trail to give you a short break. Unique, large ammo can perfect for the woods. Not much chance of finding this after the snow falls.
I'd also recommend using this area as a place to cache water for your downhill hike (also along the main trail near Goat Rock).
While this is a hike for all ages it is challenging and it can get dark, wet and cold quickly. Potentially lots of mosquitoes. Be prepared!
