1 cache in a tribute series dedicated to my favorite reality show. This is the only show I've seen that is actually reality. These men work hard in rough waters.
So I was driving around Harpswell looking for a new Berth for my NorthWestern cache. I chanced upon this site and stopped to stretch my legs. WOW!! The history here BLEW ME AWAY! As I started noticing how many Sea Captains were here I got to thinking. Tucked on the very edge of the grounds so be respectful and NO NIGHT CACHING!! Too small for a writing utensil but the cache container itself was pretty appropriate. So many good folk have been lost to the sea...both on the show and from this aged community.
Across the road you'll even see a "cattcle station" from the late 1700's....WOW! What a place. Take the time to visit and be at peace with the timelessness of it all. Please rehide the cache well as it WILL stick out
