Geocache Description:

The Israel Creek Bridge was commissioned on Nov. 10, 1874 by the Washington county commissioners. The total contract was for $590.00. John Martin was awarded the contract and the bridge was completed on April 14, 1875. The stonework has held up through many floods and the creek is stocked with trout in the spring. The terrain is fairly easy with a small pull in area nearby.
