Geocache Description:

Nothing mysterious here, just an ammo can in the woods.

I just recently learned of this place. It is the first spring that goes on to create the North Fork of the Shenandoah River. The Friends of the North Fork of the Shenandoah placed a marker here in 1990 to commemorate the spot. It is a spot you have to WANT to go to as it is on top of a mountain near the Virginia, West Virginia border just off Little Dry River Road in the George Washington National Forest. I Jeeped in and parked 80 steps from the spot walking downhill. You could just as easily bike in or come at it from another trail. I recommend an off-road vehicle, but when I got to the top, there was a small Honda car there.

Cache has a decent amount of swag to start. A baseball cap, a caribeener, a Geocaching to Eagle patch, a TB, some weird old database keychain, and a few other misc. items.

The challenge - who will be FTF??? wildernessben?, Akroy Venslaka?, Lucky Aquar?, MK17Fan? Someone else? Make your guesses before they find it by leaving a note for the cache. We'll see if any of them take the challenge.

Well that didn't take long! Great big kudos to LUCKY AQUAR for their FTF by flashlight in what would definitely have been a memorable trip.
