Just down the road (due south of the cache) is Toone Cemetery,
one of the first cemeteries in the area. James A. Toone lived from
1807 until 1881 and settled this area early in his life. He was the
area’s prominent planter, and was also the contractor for a
portion of the roadbed for the Mississippi Central Railroad. The
town of Toone (or Toone’s Station) was named after him in
1857. You can find him at N .511, W .331 if you visit the cemetery.
There are a lot of old plots in the cemetery, including my uncle
(Joe T. Smith Jr.) who died as an infant in 1946.
You are looking for a medium-sized cammo pill bottle. Original
contents of cache include small SWAG items. BYOP.
Congrats to jackthebear for
FTF!!
