Located close to the path, this cache won't take as much rummaging as you might think. As the path in places is very steep down to this cache it is not suitable for buggys or wheelchairs.
Nope, no muddy vehicles here, what you’re actually looking at is part of the Arlington Court Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). This in front of you is an Alder and Willow Carr, an area that was formally part of the lake before sediment carried by the river Yeo was trapped by the lake waters and deposited, and over years it now forms what you see, a wet woodland. Essentially a man made SSSI.
The cache is in a large sized 'clip lock' box wrapped in camo tape, inside is a log book and at times a small activity for you to complete if you wish to do so.
