Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden on Murphy's Island in the Allegheny River. It is only accessible by boat or canoe. After getting to the island vegetation will be your biggest obstacle.

Both of my daughters and son-in-laws geocache so I decided to get an account. During the summer we have a camp on this portion of the Allegheny so I am going to hide a few caches along here. Most of these won't be easy to get to but they should be fun hunts. This cache is a black taped peanut butter jar on Murphy's Island. Please bring your own pen to sign the log.

After docking/beaching you will encounter some vegetation but it is definitely not nearly as thick as my other cache on the island.
