Geocache Description:

You can probably figure out what's waiting at this site by sounding out the "Mad Gab" style name for this cache. Keep a look out for cattle in this field - and cowpies.

This cache has been placed with the permission of the land owner. There is a convenient parking place nearby beside an oil derrick.

This cache is part of the Turtle Mountain-Souris Plains Geocaching Heritage Tour! All of our geocache sites are situated in places that have stories from the past that are begging to be told. Each of our caches contain Heritage Story Cards which describe the heritage site. This is our way of getting visitors and locals out on the land and interacting with the fascinating history of southwestern Manitoba. We encourage you to collect as many Story Cards as you can!

Cache contents: Heritage Story Cards, logbook, pencil. Please record your visit in the logbook.
