Geocache Description:

I am trying to change the world, one sequin at a time.

... if you walk from GZ to the prom, you can admire Kev & Al's handiwork - the new lights.

Here's the info about their magic light show: The new-look promenade is twice as wide as it once was and incorporates landmark features along the promenade, including furniture - with heated seats - and lighting powered by renewable energy sources, which is the department that I work for in Grim Manchester...

A special use recessed luminaire for insertion into shelter seating. The purpose of the lighting is to create a small amount of ambient light and a ‘warm to touch’ surface..the seats were originally designed to be longer, but to prevent the great unwashed sleeping on them, they are now too short to have a peaceful night's sleep on...

If you look at the lights by day, they are very modern looking, but when twilight kicks in, the coloured lights are lovely. Another thing which Al told me was that there are small wind turbines in the tops of the lights, so the faster the wind is blowing, the quicker the lights flicker and change colour... amazing!”

The illuminated “Cleverleys Tide” signs on the side of the lighting pillars is also supposed to light up to reflect the tide level as well- how's that AND Al is a Gecacher too Han&Dan!

My pal Ken, who is the landlord of The Traveller's rest was interested in caching so he helped me place this one.. he is very helpful and if you get stuck, he's like a genie in a lamp :) Ask him if his slippers are comfortable LOL

No climbing required...

After it vanishing 3 times access to the cache is now between 1pm & 1am
