A series of four caches placed on a public foot path running between the two Gardens, Buckminster and Walton. It is best to start from the Buck minster Gardens end, although it can be started from Walton Gardens if wished. Apart from the first cache the walk is not really suitable for wheelchairs as it involves narrow paths and a flight of steps,
Walton Gardens was built about 1933 to house the workers at the new engineering works moving from Kent to Grantham.
Buckminster Gardens was also built to house workers, but this time for the armaments factory, built in 1938.
This cache takes you on the detour towards Gorse Lane, in keeping with the other caches in the series it is easy to find and not hidden as such, but is an object you would expect to find, but also like the others, expect the unexpected.
This one can be prickly,so wear something stout.
The cache contains a small plastic box with the log book, pen, pencil and a few swap items.
