This cache was an obvious choice for us. Both Grendel and The Grumper were responsible for the Unknown Veteran memorial being placed here in 2010. Through research on old cemetery maps, we found that a grave belonging to a forgotten veteran (probably Civil War) had been placed near this tree. So, predictably, this had to be our first cache. Also, visit the grave of Joseph Lugar, another unsung local hero of the Civil War. His grave is located near the front of the cemetery, not far from the entry. Pretty easy cache to find.
