Micro located in Shopville Community Park
GPS signal strength doen’t seem to be the greatest near the cache so I will tell you that you need to follow the narrow paved road down the hill to the playground and picnic shelter area. The cache is located around the smaller of the two shelters. Geo-sense should help. There is only room for a log so BYOP. There will be something nearby that you can use to assist you in getting to the cache. I could say more, but what fun would that be?
There isn’t a lot to do in the quaint little community known as Shopville. The name might make one think that there is a nice mall or shopping center but you won’t find a much in the way of retail beyond a
dollar store and a quick mart. But Shopville does have a really nice community park and now the park has its very own geocache.
While you are there take some time to enjoy this great park. It has several picnic shelters, a nice walking trail, playground equipment, an amphitheater and a ball field. During my visits I have seen folks having birthday parties, flying model airplanes and just relaxing and hanging out. The park closes at dark so keep that in mind when planning your caching visit. There may also be muggles around depending on the season and the weather.
