Geocache Description:

Summer is coming to an end; here’s one last shot at a summer event.

The event will be held on Sunday, Sept.4th from precisely 9:30-9:45 am, on The Common in Brattleboro.

A new Smiley, Prizes and Donuts - what more could you want for 15 minutes of your time?

I’ll bring some donuts, and a couple raffle prizes. If anyone else wants to contribute anything that’s good too!

SCHEDULE:
By 9:30 am - Arrive and sit in your car, or wander casually. (Remember, you are just a Common muggle until 9:30.)

9:30 When you see the host waving a flag in the air, hurry to GZ.
Pick up a Common index card to write your geo-name on, and drop it in the Common bucket. There will also be a place to trade TB’s.

9:32 Chat, mingle, have a donut, and sign the log book. We’ll draw name cards from the bucket for FTF honors, and maybe some prizes.

9:45 Event is officially over, time to leave as fast as you arrived. Thanks for coming!

***UPDATE 9/1/11
Let's go for it! Apparently you can't keep a good Vermonter, or Geocacher, down. Event WILL be held as planned!

There is access into Brattleboro now, though still a lot of road closures in the area, Rt 9 from Bennington being the biggie. PLEASE check the latest reports before planning your route; officials really need people to stay off the roads so National Guard, FEMA, and construction vehicles can do their jobs.
