The "Thank You Lennox and Addington County" CITO Event


I was speaking with some of my fellow geocachers at a recent mini meet and we were trying to come up with a way that the geocaching community could come up with a way to repay, if even in some token way, the efforts that the Lennox and Addington County have done to promote geocaching in the area. The thought was that we clean up the Lennox and Addington Fair Grounds as a thank you from the geocaching community to the county.

So the plan is to meet up at the Fairgrounds at 7:00 pm on Saturday, August 27th and clean up as much garbage as well can. I'll supply the gloves and the garbage bags and arrange removal of whatever we clean up. I feel that this will really assist in maintaining a good relationship between the caching community and the county, so please come out and assist if you can.

I'd also like to take the opportunity to thank Canadianzombie for all his assistance in helping me with this and many other endeavours.
