This is the first Sobad YO cache. We intend to put out a short series of these over time.
The YO caches are especially for Young Ones. They will be set on the way to or near to popular family destinations (where you will often also find a cache). They are themed around a rhyme and are aimed especially at preschoolers.
The intention is for the YO (youngest one) to make the find. The caches will all be 1 litre (or more), in a camoed material bag, should be very easily found and, when placed, included a variety of swaps. There will be safe off road parking and the area should not be busy. So your YO should be able to follow the arrow, find the cache and find a swap, without muggles around.
The cache spot will not be otherwise special – find the cache and then go to the nicer nearby spots for your picnic, swim etc.
Please do not put Travel bugs or coins in these caches. We don’t want disappointed YO’s who can’t keep their choice of item.
Please let us know if the coordinates seem to be wrong or if there is any other problem with the cache. The idea is to have happy junior cachers.
For YAH’s (young at hearts) they are a park and grab.
