This Ghat joins two valleys, Sinhagad and Velhe. The pass in the mountain range is really cool. Just climb few feet (10/15) and there is a small Lord Shivaling Temple under a tree. You can rest, eat your breakfast and relax. No one is around, whistling sound of fresh air and scenic view all around. Total rural area, farms everywhere and cows eating grass at surprising heights and steep slopes.

Just 35kms from Pune this place is hardly known in the city, however if you ask trekkers or wanderers like me, this place is easy to find. The real beauty is in the Mansoon Season when all the Mountains are green from top to bottom with Velvet like grass; Especially between July to September. And then after September up to December you can see many Orchids and beautiful wild flowers you just can’t miss.

My Geocache is easy to find due to its coordinates accuracy, but be careful on slopes and the blowing wind. Also I don’t recommend this for children. Don’t use umbrella either.
Find my Geocache and add one more feather in your geo-cap!
