Geocache Description:

An easy cache along a popular footpath in Croyde Village.

This is the second in what is now becoming a series of caches set in honour of our trusty Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Chester.

Chester is a regular visitor with us to this area, and the caches are placed in areas where he frequents, as he likes to keep an eye on his treasure chests.

The cache is placed on a public footpath within easy reach of the village centre. There are many options for in the area. The cache should be pretty easily accessible for wheelchairs, as there is a good path and no steep gradients involved.

When placed, the cache contained a bulldog clip, a note clip, a dice, a guitar keyring, 2 spent 5.56 calibre shell casings, a puzzle from a Christmas cracker and a 20 cent coin. The prize for FTF is an unactivated 'Signal' FTF Geocoin for the finder to use as their own.

This path is very popular with holiday makers so beware of muggles and please replace the cache carefully out of sight.
