Stealth will be required to pluck this cache from the midst of a switchback in a recently added leg of the river trail system. Ample parking is available at either end of the trail, the end nearest the cache location also features a free public beach with a swimming area.
Stealth will be required to pluck this cache from the midst of a switchback in a recently added leg of the river trail system. Ample parking is available at either end of the trail, the end nearest the cache location also features a free public beach with a swimming area.
Cache container is a pill bottle wrapped in black duct tape. Log only, so be sure to bring your ink pen.
You can approach the location from two directions - either park at the Baldwin Lake public beach (the trail head is next to the parking area), or park at Meijer's at the other end. If you park in the latter location, the walk would be about 3/4 of a mile to the cache, the trail head is not as clearly marked but it begins near the rear of the store and winds through a housing development. Otherwise, the cache is less than 150 yards from the public beach's parking area.
