Geocache Description:

Lots of parks around for the kids to play. Venue used on most weekday afternoons so watch out for muggles. Should be an easy find.

This non profit organization which is the South African Voortrekkers. (Afrikaans version of the Scouts) is close to our family. The specific location was used by the Bergsig region of the Voortrekkers. The hall was built from funds raised by a team of people led by Elma Bosman who all worked tirelessly for 25 years actively raising funds. They did catering here and many a wedding was celebrated here. Building on the hall started in 1992 with funds raised by Elma and her team since 1983. The hall was eventually inaugurated on 4 April 2001 and named the Elma Bosman Hall by Mr Ockie Goosen who was the founder of Bergsig Commando of the Voortrekkers.
