Børøya

Børøya ligger rett utenfor Bessaker. Øya er i privat eie, men eier
har godkjent at cachen er lagt ut. Det ligger en gård på øya og her
har de villsau eller ursau som rasen også kalles. Disse går fritt
på øya, noe som har resultert i et fantastisk kulturlandskap som er
verdt en tur! Det finnes også flere fine strender her både med sand
og rullestein. For å komme seg hit er man avhengig av båt eller
kano. Vi padler ofte over med kanoen, noe som anbefales på det
sterkeste i fint vær da dette gir en nær og fredfull måte og nyte
naturen på! Men husk at havet her ikke er til å spøke med... Båt

Inge og Torild på butikken i Bessaker.
Selve cachen er en liten boks som inneholder små bytteting,
loggbok, blyant og FTF sertifikat. Terreng rating på 4 skyldes at
du trenger båt og at sjøen her ikke er til å spøke med!

Børøya is located just outside Bessaker. The island is privately
owned, but the owner has approved that the cache is published.
There is a farm on the island and here they have the wild sheep or
"ursau" as the breed also is called. The sheeps are free on the
island, which has resulted in a stunning landscape that is worth a
trip! There are also several nice beaches here, both with sand and
pebble. To get here you are dependent on a boat or canoe. We often
paddle with the canoe, which is recommended strongly in fine
weather as this gives a close and peaceful way to enjoy the
scenery! But remember that Sea here is not to be trifled with...
Boats can be hired by Thore Erling at Bessaker drift AS or canoe by
Inge and Toril at the store in Bessaker.
The cache is a small box containing small change things, log
book, pencil and FTF certificate. The Terrain rating is 4 beacuse
you need boat and the see here can be rough!
