Geocache Description:

This was the location of one of the many covered bridges over the Digdeguash River. Unfourtunately, it was burned down on Halloween in the early 1990's and was replaced by a single lane steel bridge. In December 2010, the new bridge was nearly ruined again by the record high flooding. Many parts of the bridge needed to be replaced and it was closed for approx 6 months.
The cache can be accessed by several roads but we recommend driving the whole way through out to the Reardon Road and see where the River dumps into the basin.
You'll also see a spot to where boaters often finish a nice paddle down from the Elmsville Covered Bridge.
