Geocache Description:

Located in the Munuscong State Park. This road in the park hasn't been graded since spring so drive slow. The road has many pot holes.

When you reach the finale destination you will be looking out over a delta formed from sediment deposited by the Munuscong River. This area is a very good area for bird watching. Along the high water shore line of this delta a pair of Bald Eagles have been nesting for the last 5 years. The male is very large and quite majestic. I have seen them many times. Straight behind you you will find another cache called the Dodge Lodge. The Dodge brothers who formed Dodge motor company established a hunting and fishing lodge here. Nothing remains of the old lodge except broken concrete today. The original lodge was moved across the ice and is now a residence. The Dodge brothers donated the land to the state for a state park in 1924.
This cache is a small 3 X 5 lock and lock. Contents include unactivated trackable geocoin for FTF, small cars, pins and other small trade items.
