The Devetaki Plateau is in the central part of North Bulgaria, where the hills of the Balkan Mountain come down to the Danube River plain.
The area is mostly limestone and consists of a patchwork of caves, waterfalls, forests, meadows and fields, rich with biodiversity, cultural and historical heritage.
Be careful when climbing, especially after the broken part of the pole! Don't attempt if you are in any doubt!
