Geocache Description:

An easy find once you qualify for the challenge.

In United States history, "carpetbaggers" was a pejorative term Southerners gave to Northerners (also referred to as Yankees) who moved to the South during the Reconstruction era, between 1865 and 1877. I am a big numbers guy and love the fact that our home pages on geocaching.com have automated statistics. I was looking through those stats recently and came across the graph that plots the number of caches found at specific distance intervals. I have been fortunate enough to go on several "destination caching vacations" in FL, NV, CO and very soon CA. I thought it would be a neat idea to put a challenge cache near the airport that requires people to do a lot of travelling and caching. You can log this cache if you have a minimum of 30% of all of your total finds at least 1000 miles away or more. Why 30%? I have 30.5% so 30% is just enough to allow me to qualify for my own challenge so all of you carpetbaggers come out of the woodwork and log this cache. You are looking for a small tupperware container with some wooden cammo on top of it. It really is quite easy once you get to GZ. I made it a 5 difficulty-wise because of the travel associated with the cache but it is really only a 1.5 once you get to GZ.
