Geocache Description:

Nature area in new subdivision. Film container with a log.

It sounds nastier than it really is. You can park close to where Fairfield and McCarthy intersect although this spot does not yet show up on Google Maps. There is a trail on the wooded side of the pond that you can travel on. You will then need to traverse the concrete beams and head over towards the culvert before beginning to beeline to ground zero. You will need to travel across some rocks that are not especially stable. There is a wide variety of natural flora (e.g. milkweed, thistle). There was some stinging nettle but we removed it from the path you would need to travel on. Let us know if it returns. I have posted a picture so you know what to look out for. Be careful around the bank of the stream. It is very slippery--speaking from personal experience. Depending on the time of year, you may want rubber boots although we were fine with our shoes.
