This cache is chock full of maps! Placed by Zander and I to
celebrate finding 100 caches earlier in the day!
You'll find paper and digital maps; topographic, satellite, and
geologic. There are maps of gems and gold in Idaho, 1:24K and
1:100K topographic maps, and USDA 1m Satellite geo-referenced maps
on USB stick ready to be loaded on to a TomTom or other GPS
device.
First to find prize includes a sweet scientist-USB stick preloaded
with a huge selection of maps and some GIS swag.
This should be an easy park and grab, you don't have to go through
any gates to get to the cache, though the gate also serves as
access to BLM land beyond the ranch and you're welcome to use the
access road. If the gate is closed, please close it behind
you.
Visitors are welcome at the NMCREE and the team there does some
unique research. If you've got some time drop in and learn a bit
about the unique history--they know about the cache and would love
to meet cachers from far and away.
