This cache has been moved as of August 11, 2013. It started off at a crazy leaning tree that grew on a nurse stump and the name came from a book I had to read in college, One Flew Over A Cookoo's Nest, in which a character was Nurse Ratched. This was replaced for me by Sciuchetti in August 2013 and I made my first Owner's Maintenance early morning a year later on 8/17/2014 on my way to the Going Ape event. Sciuchetti's coords and spoiler are right on and I found it within a minute. The spoiler was the key. The spoiler shows an object about 20' from the road and is easily identifiable. The terrain rating is for the first 20' but not for the spot where the cache is.
Short hike, almost a park and grab but way too steep for a bicycle. Medium-small peanut butter jar that's been painted cammo.
(I was going to rate this as a terrain 2.5 but did the online rating and it came back as a 4.0, or a little higher. Now I know.)
Having trouble? I have upped the difficulty rating based on cachers' experience and feedback. It is mostly for the difficulty of obtaining a good signal. I had to go up and down that road 4 or 5 times watching the proximity of the cache to get halfway reasonable coords. They seemed to really wander on the road, more when I stopped. So, if you want to get good coords, hold the GPS away from your body a bit and walk in a straight line 50' or more, then reverse and go the other way, and keep an eye on the location of the cache from the trail or road. My 7 year old Garmin 60csx does much better than my new Samsung cell phone, especially in heavy tree cover or steep terrain.
