Geocache Description:

Adding to the Sumner County cemetery series. This cemetery is located on Anson Rd between 190th & 200th S. (State Line). Cemetery is in Falls Township. From Hunnewell it is 7 miles W and 1/2 mile N.

The Alton Cemetery sign was erected May 18, 1964 with a date of May 15, 1891. The first (found) marker was dated 1881. There are three stones remaining. Supposedly many stones have been removed from this cemetery. Sunken spots indicate other probable grave locations, but to best knowledge, no written record exists of others who are buried in the Alton Cemetery.

You are looking for a camo-taped pill bottle. It contains a log only, but hs room for small trackables or trinkets. You will need to BYOP. Please show respect to those that are buried here and the property. The cache may not be accessible after a heavy rain.

Congratulations to crazyturtle on the FTF!!!
