(ITA ) Le torri di Bologna, strutture con funzione sia militare sia abitativa di origine medioevale, sono uno dei tratti più caratteristici della città.
Oltre alle torri ed alle case-torri, sono ancora visibili alcuni "torresotti", fortificazioni innalzate in corrispondenza delle porte della seconda cerchia di mura del XII secolo (mura dei Torresotti o dei Mille), che fu quasi completamente abbattuta.
Qua possiamo ammirare il Torresotto di Strada Castiglione; classico esempio di queste strutture medioevali.
Per i più golosi, il cache inoltre si trova a metà strada fra una delle migliori gelaterie di Bologna ed un ottimo ristorante tradizionale!
(ENG) The towers of Bologna, function facilities and military housing is of medieval origin, are one of the most characteristic features of the city.
In addition to the towers and tower-houses, you can still see some "torresotti" fortifications erected at the gates of the second set of walls of the twelfth century (or Torresotti walls of the Thousand), which was almost completely demolished.
Here we can admire the Torresotto Street Castiglione classic example of these medieval structures.
For the sweet tooth, the cache is also located halfway between one of the best ice cream in Bologna and an excellent traditional restaurant!
