Cachen er plassert på Nesbyen stasjon ved Bergensbanen. Stasjonen ble åpnet i 1908 og bygningene er fredet. The cache is at the railway station at Nesbyen along the Bergen line. The station was opened in 1908 and the buildings are preserved.
Nesbyen stasjon ble tatt i bruk i 1908, året før Bergensbanen ble offisielt åpnet av kong Haakon VII. Arkitekt Paul Armin Due tegnet stasjonsbygningene. De fire bygningene i jugendstil ble oppført i perioden 1904 - 1913 og de ble fredet i 2002. Nesbyen railway station was begun to be used in 1908, the year before the Bergen line was officially opened by King Haakon VII. The architect Paul Armin Due designed the buildings at the railway station. The four buildings in art nouveau were erected between 1904 and 1913 and they were preserved by law in 2002.
