Raggiungere in auto il paese di Macugnaga, in Valle Anzasca (provincia del Verbano-Cusio-Ossola) e parcheggiare in frazione Pecetto.
La cache si trova presso il Lago delle Locce. E’ possibile arrivarci in due modi: il più semplice consiste nel prendere la seggiovia che da Pecetto raggiunge prima l’Alpe Burchi e, con un secondo tratto, il Belvedere. Tale luogo è così chiamato in quanto si può ammirare uno splendido panorama sul versante est del massiccio del Rosa e, un tempo (purtroppo), il ghiacciaio ormai ritiratosi parecchio rispetto a solo una ventina di anni fa. Dovete poi (a piedi) raggiungere il rifugio Zamboni presso l’Alpe Pedriola ed infine il lago. Potete anche salire direttamente a piedi da Pecetto ma la salita è, secondo me, fatica inutile in quanto il sentiero si sviluppa in gran parte sullo scempio perpetrato alla montagna per ricavare piste da sci e impianti di innevamento artificiale.
La cache consiste in una scatola di alluminio. Contiene: logbook, 3 matite, temperino, foglio di avviso (tutti da non asportare) + un pupazzetto donato da mia figlia (questo è per voi).
ATTENZIONE: per piacere rimettetela a posto accuratamente in posizione VERTICALE!!! Grazie

Drive to the village of Macugnaga in Anzasca Valley (province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola) and park in the hamlet of Pecetto.
The cache is located at the Lago delle Locce. You can get there in two ways: the simplest is to take the chairlift that before from Pecetto reaches Alpe Burchi and, with a second section, the “Belvedere”. This place is so called because you can admire a beautiful view of the east face of Monte Rosa massif and, at one time (unfortunately), the glacier retreated a lot now compared to only about twenty years ago. Then you have (on foot) to reach the “Zamboni” refuge in Alpe Pedriola and finally the lake. You can also get here by walking from Pecetto but the climb is, in my opinion, wasted effort because the trail is developed largely on the destruction done to the mountains to get the ski slopes and artificial snow.
The cache consists of an aluminum box. Contains: logbook, 3 pencils, sharpener and advice sheet (all to not remove) + a doll given to my daughter (this is for you).
