Geocache Description:

NL: Een korte oppikker in een wat verwaarloosd parkje. Container is vervangen, maar oude bevestigingssysteem zit ook nog in de buurt. Laat je niet misleiden!
EN: A quick pick-up in a somewhat neglected park. Container was replaced, but old "holder" is still in the neighborhood, don't be fooled by it!

NL: Dit parkje was ooit zeker de moeite waard. Het gebouw in het midden doet denken aan een gildehuis, en was jaren in verval, maar werd recent onder handen genomen. Het aanleggen van Zeebos (vissershuisjes voor vakantiegangers) en Zeedroom (vakantieflats) heeft het parkje doorklieft en het zwembad dat ooit bij het vermelde gebouw hoorde is nu gereserveerd voor de bewoners van Zeebos. De nieuwe eigenaar van het gebouwtje is gelukkig bezig het in de vroegere glorie te herstellen. Wat historische info is te vinden op (visit link)
Er is parking op het domeintje voor zij die met de wagen zijn, maar het recht om deze parking te mogen gebruiken is wat onduidelijk. De nabije zijstraten leveren echter ook voldoende gratis legale plaats.
Gelieve op de aangelegde paden te blijven en de als privaat aangegeven gebieden niet te betreden.
Voor hondeneigenaars: niet oprapen van wat je hond achterlaat, kan je in Bredene een fikse boete kosten!

EN: Once this little park was definitely worth the visit. The building in the middle looks a bit like a guild-house and was in decay for years, but has recently been taken care of. The construction of Zeebos (small cottages for tourists) and Zeedroom (holiday flats) has cut through the little park and the swimming pool which once was attached to that building is now reserved for the occupants of Zeebos. I'm unsure who is the owner of the building now, but they are busy restoring it to its former glory (and are known to help the occasional cacher). There is parking possibility at the entrance of the park for those travelling by car, but it is somewhat unclear whether the general public is allowed to park there. Anyhow also the neighboring streets offer sufficient free legal parking options.
Please remain on the concrete paths and avoid entering the areas marked as private property.
Note to dog-owners: not picking up what your dog leaves behind, can cost you a significant fine in Bredene!
